Ganpat Metal is the exclusive supplier & distributor of renowned Italian/European brand in Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe with a continuous average stock of 12.000 tons on more than 50000 meter square of storage area!
Duplex stainless steels are called “duplex” because they have a two-phase microstructure consisting of grains of ferritic and austenitic stainless steel. The picture shows the yellow austenitic phase as “islands” surrounded by the blue ferritic phase. When duplex stainless steel is melted it solidifies from the liquid phase to a completely ferritic structure. As the material cools to room temperature, about half of the ferritic grains transform to austenitic grains (“islands”). The result is a microstructure of roughly 50% austenite and 50% ferrite.
Duplex stainless steel offers excellent resistant to corrosion and very high mechanical strength. The high corrosion resistance of duplex stainless steel ensures significantly more uptime than carbon steels and conventional stainless steels, while the mechanical strength allows for lighter constructions, more compact system design and less welding.
We are specialized in offering Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe which are used in various engineering applications and can be availed in various grades lik ASTM A790 UNS S32750, ASTM A790 UNS S31803, ASTM A790 UNS S32760, ASTM A790 UNS S32205, Super Duplex 2507 Pipe these grades are available in the form of Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe

We welcome your inquiries.
Duplex stainless steels show very good stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance, a property they have “inherited” from the ferritic side. SCC can be a problem under certain circumstances (chlorides, humidity, elevated temperature) for standard austenitics such as Types 304 and 316.
